lori fender, our optician, really likes to laugh. quick to pull a prank, her mind is usually in creative overdrive. there must be a hole in her head where all these great ideas just pop out, turning into window displays and ways to make frame shopping fun. lori’s enthusiasm for her job translates into a real knack for picking out cool frames and helping locate the perfect fit and style for each face. she is friendly, compassionate and easy to be with, a soft touch with a beautiful smile.
sharlene montrope manages the front desk, and generally likes to give everyone a hard time. she is great with picking out glasses and won’t hesitate to say that‘s not good or that one is great. sharlene is from the caribbean island of st. lucia and has not stopped shopping since she first stepped off the plane. we call her our fashion diva, she has a great eye for style and at least 80 pairs of boots and shoes.
paula whelan is married to dr. mccrum and is the resident artist. they live upstairs with borus. she does the advertising, window displays, and store design. she has a great sense of humor which often comes through in her art work. paula, lori, and sharlene work together to purchase a great selection of fabulous frames for the shop.
