Abhay Sofsky

Abhay was an editor and producer on the Netflix series Mr. McMahon. He edited The Last Dance, a ten-part ESPN & Netflix series about Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. The series won an Emmy for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series and Abhay received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Picture Editing. He also edited 100 Foot Wave, a six-part HBO documentary series that received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series. He was the editor and associate producer of the SXSW Grand Jury Prize winning documentary Beware of Mr. Baker, for which he received the IFF Boston Karen Schmeer Award for Excellence in Documentary Editing. His other editing credits include Naomi Osaka, Before The Flood, John Leguizamo’s HBO special Ghetto Klown, and a number of music videos for Vampire Weekend.
