Joanna Naugle

Joanna Naugle is a commercials, television and film editor based in Brooklyn. TLDR, Joanna cuts FX’s THE BEAR and she’s won pretty much every award for TV editing in the game, including two Emmy Awards, two ACE Eddie Awards, and two BFE Cut Above Awards. Her other television work includes RAMY (Hulu), BIG MOUTH (Netflix), 2 DOPE QUEENS (HBO), SOME GOOD NEWS (YouTube) and specials for a whole raft of comedians including John Mulaney, Roy Wood Jr, Phoebe Robinson, Chris Gethard and Ramy Youssef.

Alongside all that, Joanna’s cut branded work for clients including Coca-Cola, Reebok, YouTube, Atlas Obscura, Sephora, Vevo and Vice, and films including MOLLI AND MAX IN THE FUTURE (SXSW 2023), MUSTACHE (SXSW 2023), BEFORE YOU KNOW IT (Sundance 2019), KATE CAN'T SWIM (Slamdance 2017), and Y2K (SXSW 2024).

Joanna is a proud member of American Cinema Editors, British Film Editors, and the Motion Picture Editors Guild. She is also a huge fan of flea markets, banana bread and overly-complicated board games.
